Entertainment Over the years, squash tournaments at Jericho Tennis Club have become as popular for their social experiences as for  the competitive squash they offer. With it’s location on beautiful Jericho Beach in Vancouver, British Columbia, the Jericho Tennis Club offers an ideal environment to have fun. This years Sun and Surf will be no different. In fact, we have expanded the entertainment schedule to pack in even more fun. Thursday Night No grad event would be complete without a "kegger". Join us on the lower patio for the Sun & Surf version. For those of you who might have forgotten what the "kegger" entails we offer the following fromt he Urban Dictionary: kegger  Pronunciation: \'ke-ger\ Function: noun Date: circa 1968    A wild party where beer is served (usually in disposable plastic cups) from a keg. Keggers are usually associated with high school and college students, but anybody can throw one if they've got a lot of friends and at least one keg of beer. "Were you at Steve's kegger on Saturday night? Jessica and Ashley got drunk and made out with each other in front of everybody. It was awesome!" Friday Night Friday Night is the traditional barbecue. Live entertainment provided by Jericho to go along with your barbecure favourites. Saturday Night is Prom Night and Sun & Surf Goes Old School  We know you saved your prom dresses and this is the occassion to break them out. Boys, dust off the powder blue tuxedo and polish those loafers. Saturday night is Prom Night and your chance to go "Old School." Experience the 1970s again, or for the first time. Great music, great decorations, great photo opportunities. PRIZES GALORE! SundaSunday: 4 pm (approximate time, following the Men's Open final)  Awards reception on the Grassy Knoll. Wine and snacks served. This has become an event in itself as people try to remember what happened the night before. A great way to end a great event. Extra Tickets Extra tickets are available for each of these events and can be purchased when you register on line or at the registration desk. Only a limited number of additional tickets are available so be sure to purchase yours early. Cost for Saturday extra ticket is $35 inclusive of tax Cost for Friday extra ticket is $16 inclusive of tax Of course, spontaneous fun can break out at any time and we encourage everybody to have as much fun as they can.
